Weeks after we thought our Creek Days were over for this year, we were blessed with a couple of days in the 70s and 80s! Not being ones to miss out on such an opportunity, we surprised the children with a Creek Day!
They were so excited!!! What a wonder-full gift!
And four days later.....
I am drying woolens in front of the window,
looking out on the snow dumped on us by the effects of Hurricane Sandy!

ReplyDeleteGreat pics...did you get hit hard with snow? I saw on the news where there was a lot of it your way. Hope you are all safe and warm!!!
ReplyDeleteOnly 4-6 inches, I'd guess... which is way better than the 30" just an hour--hour and a half east of us. We lost power for just a few hours Tuesday evening, though 40% of our county is still without power. Thanks for asking!
DeleteNow that is one for Country Kids, I'm loving all the pay things in the creak, clearly lovely and warm still with you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up, a bit of water is always hours of fun!
Deleteyou crossed my thoughts when i heard WV was getting hit with a major snowstorm- sounds like new england weather, 70 one day, snow the next :) atleast you got a special day at the creek before the snow hit, love it! thanks for sharing!
