Enchanted Childhood Preschool ~ The Letter "C"

For "Letter C" week, we studied Mary Cassatt. The children LOVE that she loved to paint babies and children!  After reading about her, they painted with watercolors.

Thursday we made sure to give thanks.  It is alway a blast to see what the kids say ther are thankful for!

At the beginning of the new "school year", I made a little "discovery" tray of items related to our theme ... the beach.  It was such a hit, I make on each week.  The children are free to play with the items at any point throughout the morning.  One little boy goes off to the classroom to get the tray as soon as he arrives.  I use the tray during Circle Time, as well.

I was pretty pleased with myself over this little "Letter B for Bird" work I made up!  We have several of the Audubon birds and bird cards from a Bird Bingo game.  I had a "aha" moment and put the two together for a fun bird matching work!  The kids LOVED it!
