Making Learning Fun with.... Tape!

Bunny is all about tape.  No need to buy her a toy.. a new roll of tape thrills her!

Here is a fun way for her and Nana to practice the alphabet!

Using what a child loves to teach them various skills is a win-win for everyone!

We make sure to not only teach the letter's name, but the sound as well.  Pre reading skills!

 Oh and check out that wild hair! Love it!

So sorry there is no Eco-Kids Tuesday this week ... so far.  Neither Becki (Organic Aspirations) nor I can get the linky to work...

For now, I'll share a couple pictures of two eco-happy beach bums!

Becki got it to finally work!  I have no features to share today... we got home at 5:30am, after driving for nine hours (yawn)  Next week, we will get back to "life as usual" around here!

Eco-Kids Tuesday

Welcome to Eco-Kids Tuesday!!

My eco-happy idea came from Pinterest!

Very simple instructions... take the stump of Romaine lettuce and stick it in dirt.

A week or so later....

Another few days...

This is crazy!  It works!

I used organic lettuce, in organic soil.

I am going to let this one keep growing until it just starts to look like it is done...

I am very curious how big it will get!
